What you’ll be doing...
This HRBP position holds a dual responsibility.
(1) Functional - responsible for supporting a large client group or multiple groups across the APAC region in driving their people strategy for APAC. The HRBP will leverage our solutions centres of excellence to ensure strategic and innovative solutions are provided to the client to address key people challenges and opportunities.
(2) Country ER - The HRBP based in Australia will also be responsible for Employee Relations across Australia, China and Hong Kong ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulations.
Build strong relationships across your functional clients to understand their business strategy, people challenges and opportunities to a level where you are able to anticipate the needs of the client and proactively address.
Build strong partnerships with the solution provider team to discuss, address and provide solutions to the client in all areas of staffing, compensation & benefits, training and talent development.
Ensure support of engagement and retention initiatives across the functional groups through coaching of managers, solid development and succession plans across each team.
Partner with the European and US HR leads for the clients you support to ensure global alignment
Monitor compensation and reward systems to ensure they are both competitive and equitable to acquire and retain high quality employees.
Ensure HR metrics are met in relation to staffing TTF, workforce composition turnover, deliberative development, quality of hire and any additional metrics as required.
Ensure solid workforce plans for each of your client groups and regular review of the plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Roll out of any HR initiatives as required including projects
Ensure participation and support for all Geo Led Culture initiatives and meetings in Australia ensuring attendance is recorded and feedback is gathered.
Ensure Verizon meets its legal, regulatory and social obligations in connection with all employment matters in Australia, Hong Kong and China
Implement and renew HR procedures and policies as required ensuring compliance with local legislation.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
A degree or four or more years of experience
Four or more years of HR experience
Certification in Human Resource Management/Business Administration or equivalent or experience within a HR environment
