The HR Solutions within Client Services team supports departments under the UHR umbrella in delivering university-wide programs for Stanford faculty and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
Provide process and policy design leadership by defining governance, process, and information architecture within a targeted business area.
Align cross functional processes, policies, programs, applications and projects to define a functional architecture that supports management's strategic objectives, while ensuring responsible data governance in accordance with University policies.
Perform outreach to University business partners to understand financial needs, provide business process analysis, share best practices and recommend business solutions.
Lead cross-functional project teams to produce requirements and design for business capabilities that align the University's business and technology strategies.
Identify solutions using standard analysis techniques such as business process and information flow modeling, case analysis, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis.
Create implementation plans, and direct implementation activities in order to deliver innovative solutions that incrementally improve operational capabilities
Lead the planning and implementation of approved application or process change initiatives.
Collaborate with managers, analysts, developers, change management and end users to help build awareness, provide communication, training and support for change across the institution.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, accounting, operations, finance, statistics or engineering.
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Subject matter expertise for area(s) of responsibility
Expertise in computer system capabilities, business processes and workflow
Expertise in business and management computer applications and databases
Ability to understand and apply the software development lifecycle and project management techniques.
Ability to constantly sit with extensive keyboarding/dexterity; occasionally use a telephone; rarely writing by hand; occasionally stand/walk; frequently grasp lightly/fine manipulation; constantly use a computer; rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
