Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) for Finance and Administration, the VPHR leads the implementation of human resources strategies and initiatives that align with Brownâ™s mission, and positions the institution as an employer of choice by instituting best practices from within the field of human resources and organizational development. The engaged and knowledgeable staff represent the areas of Benefits, Compensation and Organizational Services, Employee and Labor Relations, Recruitment and Staffing, and Talent Development and promotes the utilization of technology and efficient business processes to deliver data, service, and support to the full range of constituencies in support of Brownâ™s mission. Together with the UHR team, the VPHR provides strategic and organizational consultation and guidance to all employees on human resource issues, as well as leadership and overall direction of human resource planning and administration for the University. The VPHR serves as a resource to problem solve and offer guidance to campus constituents.
