This newly created position will be responsible for Wells Fargo's Human Resources (HR) Vendor Management Engagement process. The HR Vendor Engagement Management Consultant will apply business expertise to the management of a third-party service provider engagement that factors identified risks and issues into business decisions related to that engagement. This individual contributor role will report to Wells Fargo's HR Vendor Engagement Management Leader. Wells Fargo's HR Vendor Management and Global Delivery team is responsible for HR's 'build versus buy' strategy for all current and future third-party vendor engagements for consulting, design, and service delivery activities. This will include centralizing vendor strategy and engagement management, as well as establishing our future global HR delivery plan, activities, and the partnerships necessary to enhance our multi-site delivery capabilities and resources. Key responsibilities include: - Establish a collaborative way in working with 3rd party vendors, Wells Fargo Line of Business Leaders and other internal Stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Sourcing, HR Control & Third Party Risk, as well as HR Outsourcing
- Engagement Initiation:
- Complete new engagement planning activities (opportunity evaluation, approvals and establishing contracts via Supply Chain Management)
- Capture vendor details in TRIMS or other tools
- Communicate processes, policies, requirements to third-party service providers
- Risk Management (Assessment and Resolutions):
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluation in collaboration with Relationship Manager
- Ensure risk assessment interventions and controls designed by Relationship Manager are operationalized and work as intended
- Regulatory test controls in place to manage risks associated with vendor(s)
- Document and operationalize changes with vendor(s)
- Day to Day Engagement:
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure they meet SLA targets
- Communicate process gaps to Relationship Manager and operationalize process interventions, resolve issues and track improvements
- Communicate changes to the specific engagement or process to the third-party provider, Relationship Manager and stakeholders
- Escalate issues as per Escalation Management Procedures
- Third-Party Strategy and Governance:
- Vendor consolidation, relationship termination decisions
- Governance office for SLA benchmarking and management

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule. Required Qualifications
- 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

Other Desired Qualifications
- 6+ years of vendor management experience
- Experience establishing third-party service provider engagements and management of those engagements including performance measurement
- Supply chain experience
- 4+ years of acting as a liaison and providing relationship management between multiple stakeholders
- Experience with operational risk which includes establishing controls, testing and validation
- Experience escalating issues and other inherent risks identified
- Strong execution and communication skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels, as well as externally

- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
