Overview Lead the People Relations & Inclusion team within country focusing on advancing a "one 3M" experience.
Leads the People Relations & Inclusion teams within Japan.
Creates and actions Engagement plan for country in partnership with Managing Director and Country Leaders.
Provides coaching to country people leaders and employees to ensure they are supported and that their voices are amplified into the broader 3M organization.
Leads 3M's interactions with works council and unions where applicable and with support from Managing Director.
Leads Human Resource aspects of investigation coordination and response for Japan.
Drives Human Resource assessment processes (Employee Relations/Compliance/etc.) for Japan.
Drives local execution of people priorities for Business Groups/Functions while providing feedback to area Organization Effectiveness & Talent Leaders (Human Resource Business Partners) on critical local issues (staffing, turnover, terminations, restructuring, development).
Collaborates with Labor Strategy leader on driving actions aligned to Labor Strategy approach
Some of the Shared Accountabilities including:
Collaborate with Organization Effectiveness & Talent Leaders for Diversity and Inclusion planning.
Work with Corporate Giving and Corporate Affairs on Community Engagement.
Work with Learning & Development team on Country talent development actions and align with local Engagement Plans.
Partner Ethics and Compliance team for Employee relation issues investigation.
Calibrate within country for all critical people issues.
Bachelor's Degree; MBA is preferred.
5 -7 years of experience in HR leadership capacity.
3-5 years of experience supervising a diverse team.
Strong collaboration across multiple stakeholders/functions/business.
Agility and change leadership
Strong employee relations experience required; labor relations and union negotiation experience highly preferred.
