What you’ll be doing...
You will be responsible for driving and delivering HR solutions in-country, while overseeing the achievement of global organizational goals. Your primary responsibility is the execution of a talent strategy that results in increased performance and productivity. You also have ultimate responsibility for ensuring processes, policies and ER matters comply with local legislative requirements.
Success in this role will require strong partnerships with HRBP teams in APAC and the US,and global Centre of Excellence teams, providing a unified and aligned ‘One HR’ solution. You will also partner with the business to understand market strategy and consult/advise on future workforce needs; with a strategic focus on the ever changing global landscape and alignment to Verizon’s business priorities. The right person will have the opportunity to drive a variety of strategic projects and initiatives and make a major impact in this role.
Direct and virtual lead for Philippines HR as one team.
Partner with managers to understand and consult on business strategy, people challenges and opportunities.
Partner with COEs to provide and manage solutions in all areas of staffing, compensation & benefits, training and talent development.
Support engagement and retention initiatives through coaching of managers and solid development and succession plans.
Partner with managers to drive performance management following global metrics and processes.
Partner with L&D to deliver robust development solutions ensuring ROI on all programmes.
Monitor & manage compensation and benefit systems that attract and retain high quality employees.
Manage the delivery & assessment of HR metrics.
Drive a variety of HR initiatives and projects.
Ensure Verizon meets all legal/regulatory and social obligations.
Drive the development and implementation of employee engagement strategies and programs that align with EVP, achieve strong engagement and foster a great work environment.
Implement and revise HR procedures and policies as required.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications in Human Resource Management/Business Administration or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Six or moreyears of experience in an HRBP role.
Six or more years ofexperience driving and delivering HR projects.
Proven experience managing the resolution of complex employee relations issues in line with statutory requirements & company business code of conduct.
Willingness to travel.
Bilingual fluency in English and Filipino
