Location: Baltimore, MD Category: Staff Posted On: Fri Jan 29 2021 Job Description: Goucher College's Human Resources (HR) Assistant serves as the front-line HR representative for all callers and visitors, and provides administrative support to all members of the HR team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records for all current and former employees. Through professional communication and organized record-keeping, this position plays a critical role in ensuring that the Office of Human Resources is able to fulfill its mission. This position will administer the administrative components of the new hire and exit processes for all employees, overseeing the department budget and processing invoices, preparing and proofreading various correspondence, and more. Job Requirements: Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED and have a minimum of three years of professional clerical experience in a busy office setting. Preferred candidates will have an Associate's degree with experience in a human resources office, experience with an applicant tracking system and human resources information systems.
