Job Summary/Basic Function: Reporting to the Director, HR Services, the Sr. HR Generalist will be a part of a customer-focused Client Services Team and will provide direct support to assigned client groups in all matters related to the employee life cycle.
The Sr. HR Generalist will guide and assist their client groups in implementing effective human resource strategies to support overall organizational objectives. In addition to promoting positive employee relations through design, communication and interpretation of human resources policies and programs, they maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
The Sr. HR Generalist will be a team player, flexible in attitude who will have the ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times and be customer service driven with commitment to exceptional quality.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, training and experience
A minimum of five years of related experience
Demonstrated experience in employee relations and handling complex employment matters
The candidate must have the following skills:
Solid knowledge base of human resources programs and understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, communication skills, be detail-oriented, self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines.
Must have strong initiative and sound judgement, must have the ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times and be customer service driven with commitment to exceptional quality.
Advanced degree in Human Resources or a related field or PHR/ SPHR.
