St. Paul’s School’s Director of Human Resources will serve in an important leadership role as the School continues advancing its programs, policies and employees in support of the new head of school’s strategic initiatives. The School seeks a Director who can help marshal the full power of the School’s talented faculty and staff to drive continued meaningful evolution in the School’s culture and working environment. Drawing on the best of the School’s time-honored values and traditions, while incorporating evolving best practices, the Director of Human Resources will help ensure the School’s continued success in offering world-class, inclusive educational opportunity to its community of learners. Reporting to the Chief Operating and Financial Officer, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for supporting the mission and strategic goals of the School by managing the human resources functions in ways that promote the School’s values and contribute to a diverse, inclusive, and supportive School community and climate. The successful Director will be one who values initiative, works collaboratively, understands the strategic imperatives of organizational development, and seeks to contribute to the School’s success at both the planning and executional levels. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record with exceptional human resources expertise, relationship and talent management capabilities, and organizational leadership success. The School is seeking a subject matter expert with current and deep knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, trends, best practices, and new developments in the field. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including at least five years supervisory experience, and a SPHR or comparable certification. The position and opportunity are ideal for a self-starter with demonstrated initiative, creativity and problem-solving skills -- a team player who will contribute meaningfully to the School’s continued success by enhancing the skills, productivity, and fulfillment of the School community. Founded in 1856, St. Paul’s School is a coeducational, highly academic, fully residential boarding school for grades 9 through 12 located in Concord, NH on an historic 2,000-acre campus. Offering a rigorous, values-based education, the School unites a diverse and inclusive learning community of approximately 530 students and 330 faculty and staff members to create an extended family which respects and nurtures individual talent, personal freedom and responsibility, intellectual curiosity, and public service. The new Rector joined in 2019, and under her leadership the School is poised for continued and expanded success as one of the nation’s premier boarding schools. Click here for more information.
