Position Function: Provides guidance to managers and employees for a variety of Human Resources issues and serves as a lead in one or more of the following areas: Talent Management, Total Rewards, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Learning and Organizational Development, and Compliance. Provides support for external programs including workers compensation, drug testing, background screening, Employee Assistance Program, and the EthicsPoint reporting system. Salary Grade: 17 Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or other related discipline. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or other related discipline Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1. Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills Working Conditions and Physical Effort No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.
