The HR Services Director provides leadership for the global HR Service Center and Payroll teams and is accountable for ensuring that the teams design and deliver the policies, processes and tools, to ensure high quality and cost effective services to the organization. This role collaborates closely with Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), HR Generalists (HRGs), HR Centers of Expertise (CoEs), IT, Finance and third party service providers, to implement technology driven solutions and other HR operational services in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall HR service delivery model and to deliver a positive employee experience. This role is a strategic member of the HR team and is looked to for counsel, leadership, innovation and results that enable RA to meet its strategic priorities and operational targets as they relate to the company's Growth and Performance Strategy. As the global employee master data owner and payroll process owner, this leader is accountable to create an environment with a focus on compliance to internal policies, key controls and government regulations and in which customer needs are anticipated and expectations consistently met.
Essential Functions : 1 Design, execute and maintain global payroll and HR service center processes, policies and procedures that are efficient and effective, provide innovative solutions and result in timely, accurate and compliant services and pay for all employees. 2 Establish and manage the processes by which we carryout employee lifecycle transactions and our employee master data via Manager Self Service and Employee Self Service. Ensure that the HR Service Center Team is efficient and accurate in consulting with employees and managers and transacting employee data changes. Ensure that people managers, and employees have the appropriate training and job aids to support their role in maintaining employee data. 3 Partner with Legal, Data Privacy Officer, Chief Information Security Office, IT Security, HR Technology and third party partners to ensure protection of personally identifiable information and other sensitive data in all systems and processes. Ensure access to employee data is properly reviewed, approved and audited regularly. 4 Ensure that employee document management processes by which records are added, retained, accessed and purged, comply with company policies and country regulatory requirements, including for internal documents such as Conflict of Interest, Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property and Arbitration Agreements, and employment contracts. 5 Measure compliance with key controls to decrease risk of fraud and errors; implement corrective actions as necessary. Hold team accountable to implement timely corrective actions to resolve issues and avoid repeat issues. 6 Establish metrics and external benchmarks to track and monitor the performance of processes and services, and identify the top opportunities for process improvement based on impact and risk. Drive productivity in order to improve and expand services to meet the organization's needs. Ensure high quality through robust audit processes. Maintain an understanding of industry trends and best practices; implement appropriate changes. 7 Ensure that the extensive global and local process documentation remains current to support robust process and knowledge management over time.
