The human resources coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates the human resource processes for Ohio Christian University. The selected candidate will perform duties at the most professional and confidential level. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function, as needed, including record-keeping and file maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities: *Performs customer service function by answering employee requests and questions *Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by senior HR personnel *Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions *Assists with the performance review process *Prepares new employee files *Prepares correspondence as requested *Prepares check request and credit card receipt forms for AVP approval *Handles employment application intake *Posts job openings to various sites *Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures *Conducts new employee orientation *Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions *Assists with processing of terminations *Performs other related duties as required
High School Diploma Skill and Ability to: Communicate Critical Evaluation Ethical Practice HR Expertise Ability to act as a role model for employee morale and good employee relations Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; to establish positive public relations; and to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
