At IMI Hydronic, autonomy & accountability are at the root of all that we do. As we move towards a network-based company culture with flatter hierarchy, the intrinsic motivation and committed accountability of our workforce becomes vital to our success. We strive to live IMI’s values by making fair, and honest decisions which we communicate transparently, by speaking up even when it’s controversial and by not shying away from making the tough calls where needed. Radical candor with kindness is one of our guiding principles.
The culture we strive to create is one of engaged performance with a purpose. We do care about accomplishing great work in the spirit of our values. Relentlessly adhering to a customer first mindset at all levels of the organization also means that we must instill an enterprise thinking and break functional silos.
Communication is an important vehicle to reinforce the principles of our new culture and to regularly check the pulse of the organization. Another pillar of our culture is the inclusion of all forms of diversity. We value people for who they are and encourage diverse perspectives and opinions within the framework of our values. We want our employees to bring their authentic selves to the workplace and feel that they have a home at IMI Hydronic independent of their background, gender, race, sexual orientation or any other diversity aspect.
