Provide support for all academic personnel administration. This position supports the Offices of Human Resources and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost in providing advice regarding administration of the faculty collective bargaining agreement. The Academic HR Administrator provides guidance on performance and personnel actions. This position helps manage the reappointment, promotion and tenure process and the appointment, review and contract renewal for academic personnel and the sabbatical approval process. This position provides data analysis and reporting for administration and as required in the collective bargaining agreement.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Minimum of 1 year administrative experience or human resources.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Access.
Proficiency in Ellucian Banner, or other HRIS system.
Experience querying data generating reports, and analyzing data from HRIS systems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Human resources experience in higher education.
Experience in employee recruitment and applicant tracking systems.
Experience in labor relations and contract administration.
