We are looking for a full-time HR Business Advisor to join our team. The incumbent hired into this position will partner closely with HR leaders, focused on Mayo Clinic International:
Provides consultative services to operational leadership including workforce planning and succession planning
Supports organizational design work, including creation of new roles, pricing, and talent strategies
In partnership with HR leaders, delivers forward-thinking HR solutions that are in support of a global workforce supporting cultural awareness and readiness
Under the direction of HR leaders, leads projects and completes tasks related to defining and responding to people related implications of International business opportunities
May lead values aligned projects, including policy committee advice and counsel, define staffing plans, recruitment process values alignment, etc.
The HR Business Advisor will also need to display a willingness to accommodate different time zones for calls and meetings. Experience living or working internationally is preferred. Preferred work location is Rochester; however, may consider alternate options based on final candidate. Partial telework is a future consideration for this role. Provides consultative services to senior operational leaders and teams to assist in achieving strategic objectives. Delivers forward-thinking HR solutions to the business. Counsels and collaborates with leaders on initiatives that drive employee engagement, leadership and organizational effectiveness, and other workforce/talent solutions. Provides workforce insight and foresight to inform business strategy and planning. The HR Business Advisor will collaborate with teams within HR in delivering future focused planning services (workforce, succession, organizational design, etc.). Analyzes workforce trends to identify proactive solutions. Leads multi-functional teams to design and implement HR solutions that are relevant to customers. Advises on complex matters dealing with employee/employer relationship to include high risk issues that are behavioral and/or performance based. This is accomplished through understanding trends and issues, applying best practices principles to support the enterprise, providing subject matter expertise on policies, employment/labor law, and the investigative process, understanding trends and applying best practices; Uses persuasion to drive decisions that are in alignment with Mayo Clinic values, recognizing site and cultural differences.

Bachelor degree and 8 years relevant HR experience or a Master's degree and 5 years relevant HR experience. Knowledge of other HR disciplines required.
Additional Qualifications: Communication, negotiation, mediation, agility, service excellence, project management, analytics, problem solving, and critical thinking skills required. Prefer candidate with international experience.
License or Certification: The following certifications are preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR); Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP); Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Additional Salary Information: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3220.00, based on a full-time position.
