Reports directly to the Vice President of Administrative Services with $2,544 (Minimum Monthly Salary under 12-Month Contract)
The position will provide excellent customer service to the public, students, faculty and staff of SKYCTC. The successful candidate will provide administrative and technical support for the SKYCTC human resources operations to included:
Responsible for coordinating interview teams, set-up and confirm interviews, perform background checks and conduct references for potential hires.
Responsible for scanning all SKYCTC's employee documents (Employment, Benefits, FML, Worker's Comp. Compensation/Classification, etc. ...) into software (OnBase) to aid in a paperless environment.
Responsible for collecting adjunct new hire paperwork, perform set-up data entry, and enters all adjunct pay contracts in PeopleSoft.
Responsible for updating the About Us Office and Department page with new employee information on SKYCTC website, phone list, and President's Office
Assist with monitoring Administrative Services budget and creating BA8 and BA50's for the department. Order all supplies for department and responsible for reporting all maintenance request/work orders for building.
Coordinate and assist the department with special projects and events for SKYCTC: open enrollment, New Employee Luncheons, on-site interviews for administrative level positions, special luncheons, employee engagement activities, and wellness initiatives for SKYCTC employees.
Assist with special projects assigned to Administrative Services and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Associate degree (related field) and one year related work experience or equivalent. Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong written and oral communication skills; work confidentially with discretion, exercise considerable judgement and applying experience in decision making, detail-oriented, with the ability to facilitate others, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and work as a member of a highly functional team; proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with PeopleSoft preferred, Office, ability to meet deadlines, to work under pressure, and to adjust to changing priorities.
