We are seeking a Graduate Intern to join our Human Resources team for the 2020-2021 academic year. The Intern will perform various administrative tasks and support the HR department’s daily activities. The Human Resources Internship offered by Empire State Realty Trust provides an opportunity for Graduate students interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources and provides perspective of HR operations including payroll, recruiting and employee development.
Provide administrative assistance to the HR Team on a variety of projects
Update internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
Screen resumes and application forms for recruiting purposes
Address employee queries
Identify HR workflow inefficiencies and come up with solutions for streamlining/automating HR processes
Participate in organizing company events
Build partnerships with senior leaders and employees at all levels
Must be enrolled in a Graduate program
Must be available a minimum of 20 hours per week both in office and virtual from the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm
Should possess interest in pursing a career in Human Resources
