UC San Diego Health HR has an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to work within a team that provides service regarding timekeeping, payroll, managing sick/vacation accruals, interpreting and advising on pay related policies and customer service. In addition to updates to the employee data base an HR Advisor is working with a dynamic team and assisting employees and managers over the phone and through our HR portal/website. Our HR Advisors are the points of contact to help guide and inform our managers and employees with this role specifically working with timekeeping and pay-related matters.
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources; or related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.
Thorough knowledge of general employment, employee relations, benefits, classification, compensation, and performance management.
Demonstrated experience and proven success in a Human Resource related function.
Strong time management, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Experience using PeopleSoft.
Employment is subject to a pre-employment physical and criminal background check.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
