To provide an efficient and effective service in relation to projects which would include the production of reports, assisting with the implementation of proposals, and undertaking any other areas of work, as requested.
To support the review of and maintain the HR systems ensuring that they continue to support the business and are used effectively.
To assist with HR Projects, Initiatives, Processes and Procedures
To support the provision of HR management information, ensuring that it is accurate, timely and value added.
To provide support in all absence related issues, including sickness, annual leave etc ensuring that procedures are adhered to. To include the input and gathering of information and the production of statistics and reports.
To support the administration of employee benefits and payroll in line with established policies and procedures.
To work with the recruitment function to generate contracts and manage new employee on-boarding process.
To update the HR department's page on the organisation's intranet when required.
To provide all staff with quality support and solutions on HR policies, procedures and benefit queries in line with Office guidelines, and when required escalate to the appropriate level ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Contribution to general finance department activities and ad hoc requests
Learning & Development
To provide an administration service in relation to training and development ensuring that all applications to attend external and internal courses, joining instructions and course evaluations are processed in line with established policies and procedures
Skills and Experience
Experience working in HR teams within financial services desirable
Experience managing Payroll and employee benefits
Experience in preparing management reporting
Experienced user of HR systems -
High level of competence in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work quickly, accurately and on their own initiative
Degree level educated with professional HR qualification or a willingness to work towards it
