Human Resource Officer plans, manages and directs the human resource function including recruiting, training in HR related topics, retention, HR policies and procedures for the Bank and it’s Affiliates. HR Officer has knowledge of current HR practices and methods including compliance with State, Federal and legal requirements and the ability to implement and administer HR programs and policies which strategically support the Bank’s mission and goals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field with emphasis in Human Resources AND six years of management experience in a Human Resources operation OR any similar combination of education and experience
Professional Human Resource Certificate preferred
Banking experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proven skills as HR Director
Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives
Excellent knowledge of HR employment legislation and regulations
Thorough knowledge of human resources management principles and best practices
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
