The Human Resources Analyst collects, compiles, and analyzes data, metrics, and statisticsfrom various internal and external sources on an ongoing basis to support organizational staffing, retention, compensation, and performance objectives and strategies. The HR Analystis also responsible for management of software applications that support HR-related business processes, such as the human resources information system (HRIS) and performance and succession management systems.The HR Analyst is responsible for compensation system maintenance, including assessing market data and benchmarking positions to recommendchanges to job classification and salary structures. The HR Analyst ispart of a team responsible to provide general HR and benefits support to all employees,andis responsible to build credible and trusting relationships with colleagues and to take an open-door approach to responding to their questions and concerns. ?
This position is open to any of the following NISC locations (IA, ND, MO, WI)
Collect and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS), performance and succession systems, applicant tracking system, employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, and other sources.
Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns, including but not limited to recruitment, staffing, engagement, turnover, and compensation and benefits.
Prepare standard and customized reports, dashboards and ad-hoc requests based on business needfor delivery to leadership.
Assist in developingdata-driven short- and long-term goals and key performance metrics as requested.
Support compensation management by benchmarks jobs against salary survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
Recommend updates to salary structure.
Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
Gather data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
Serve as system administrator performance, succession, and employee learning managementsystems, collaborating with team members to configure and customize to support business processes.
Assist with administration and interpretation of behavioral assessments.
Assist with development, administration, and analysis of surveys collecting HR-related data.
Assist withregular audits to ensure data and system integrity.
Assist with revision and interpretation of Human Resources policies and handbook, including researching best practices.
Assist with providing support to NISC employees and record interactions in CRM tool.
Assist team members during employee events and activities, as requested.

Bachelor’s degree in a human resources or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
5 or more years ofexperience working in human resources
3 or more years of experience performing reporting and data analysis duties, preferably in human resources area
