Define, develop and implement strategic human resources initiatives to support and facilitate the execution of business plans and long-term business strategies of the Company. Continual monitoring of the strategies, via employee feedback, surveys, etc.
Support strategic organizational planning through participation in the business process and provide expert advice on HR issues associated with organizational growth and changes.

Initiate and maintain the job levelling structure for the Company.
Manage the construction and annual maintenance of functional organization charts and job descriptions for the region.
Provide guidelines and recommendations to the management for their local allocations and distribution of total remuneration.
Ensure that the Company operates competitive reward programs.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends and forecasts, and establish policy to meet business needs in an equitable manner.
Retention & Succession Planning
Ensure effective alignment between manpower planning, succession planning, performance monitoring (appraisal) and development and training so that individual efforts are being recognized and that the career aspirations of key contributors are being fulfilled.
Talent Acquisition and Retention
Develop and implement a manpower planning and recruitment framework to ensure the Company attracts and retains the top professionals.
Provide direct confidential support to key senior managers on areas of policy, communication, office environment, compensation issues and contracts.
Oversee the selection and development of employees. Interviews, hires, trains, counsels, and provides guidance in resolving complex or sensitive problems. Maintain and promote positive employee relations in the work environment.
Provide employee counselling services at workplace.
Ensure that the Company operates in accordance with local legal requirements with respect to employment practices and work environment(s) and that effective programs and discipline procedures are in place to maintain adherence to core organization values, policies and practices.
HR Service Delivery
Establish and maintain strong and open working relationships and communication channels at the business unit levels to ensure services remain relevant and are provided in a flexible manner.
HR Costs Budgeting
Establish and maintain a quarterly HR costs budgeting to Finance Department.
Job Based Competencies:
15 years+ relevant experience (in which preferably with at least 5 years with financial or financial services companies)
Member of recognised bodies
Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related discipline
Knowledge of computer applications and software related to Communications
Strong PC skills
Strong command of written and spoken English (fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin an advantage)
Excellent communications skills
Good interpersonal skills with different levels and culture
Good networking with human resources professionals of financial or financial services industry
