InTrust Partners has been engaged by USA Health located in Mobile, Alabama, to lead a national search for the health system's Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to serve as the health system’s subject matter expert for human resource strategic and operational issues and provide overall leadership for the integrity, operations, and performance of all human resource functions for the health system. The University of South Alabama Health System (known as USA Health) is an academic health system consisting of a 406-bed University Hospital with a Level 1 Trauma Center, a 152-bed freestanding Children's & Women's Hospital, a freestanding Cancer Institute, a growing physician network with 300+ providers, and numerous outpatient care sites that serves as a major tertiary referral center for southwest Alabama, southeast Mississippi, and portions of Northwest Florida. USA Health has experienced unprecedented growth in the last several years and is poised for continued growth and market expansion.
Reporting directly to the CEO of USA Health, with a dotted line to the University Vice President of Finance & Administration, the CHRO will be an integral member of the senior executive team and provide both high level guidance as well as "hands on" day-to-day leadership and implementation of key strategic initiatives and continuous daily operations improvement. He/she will lead the implementation of best practices and cultivate a high performing, customer-centric human resource team with an entrepreneurial mindset and a servant leadership spirit.

USA Health desires an accomplished, high energy, genuine, results-oriented Human Resources leader who is exceptionally collaborative, politically savvy, innovative, resourceful, with proven ability for establishing credibility and strong working relationships across the entire organization and with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of progressive HR management and leadership experience with at least five years of experience in a senior level leadership role advising executive-level leadership in a health system or complex health care setting.
