Advertised Job Summary:
Under minimal supervision performs human resources and business activities in the School of the Earth, Ocean & Environment (SEOE) and the Baruch Institute to include: (1) coordinating all personnel activities consisting of faculty, TFAC, staff, emeritus faculty, instructors, post-docs, and undergraduates; (2) Serve as liaison to International Support For Faculty and Staff (ISFS) to process all visa request, solve problems for international faculty and staff, and assist with paperwork in connection with international visitors;
Responsible for managing time-keeping and leave processes in ITAMS for faculty, staff and students as needed;
Prepares all hire/rehire/change actions for undergraduate work-study and non-work study student assistants;
Provides back up for payment requests/POs, TAs and TRVs;
Responsible for the Time & Effort certification process;
Serves as front office back-up support.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.
