The University of Cincinnati’s Central Human Resources Department is
seeking two (2) HR Associates for our HR Front Desk Operations. These are 25 hours per week schedules with occasional 40 hour per week coverage for vacations and peak hiring events.
The HR Associate supports a variety of HR functions and is the first point of contact for employees and departments in need of HR services and information such as benefits, procedures, polices and onboarding new employees; both faculty, staff, and student hires. In addition, this position is responsible for updating HR systems in a timely and accurate manner.
Initiates transactions in HR systems and ensures timely and accurate completion.
Responds to inquiries via phone or in-person and assessing the next
Verifies I9 documents using eVerify.
Uploads personnel records into databases.
Responsible for accurate and timely storage of HR related documents in accordance with UC’s Records Retention Schedule.
Performs related duties based on departmental need.
Must maintain confidentiality with high level of integrity.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
