Under general direction, this position is responsible for the ongoing design and administration of the salary structures and compensation plans, including job descriptions, job classification and evaluation, market-pricing studies, position and salary reviews
Typically a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Statistics or related field or equivalent experience. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) highly preferred. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of benefit regulation/policy changes.
Minimum 3 years compensation experience in progressively responsible positions.
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of: Compensation administration, California Wage Orders, FLSA, ADA, EEOC, and other applicable laws and/or regulations.
Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries incorporating complex, highly technical information. Highly developed organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated computer competency, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and preferably knowledgeable of HRIS systems.
