HR and Operations Coordinator
The HR and Operations Coordinator manages HR, facilities, and administrative responsibilities on a broad basis. This position handles and supports a wide range of human resources activities, including acting as the primary recruiter for PCI. Â The HR and Operations Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and creating materials and knowledge related to HR practices and policies, mission continuity, staffing, and space. management. Â This position will manage the hiring, onboarding and day to day supervision of student and temporary workers, as well as managing administrative support coverage for the front desk and phones. Â The position will act as the departments Workday expert and help staff resolve issues related to the same. The position provides broad support for PCI's facilities including responsibilities for maintaining the space, space planning, and general administrative support such as overseeing supplies and facilities requests. Â The HR and Operations Coordinator provides administrative support to the Chief Operations Officer and Associate Director of IP and Operations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Â HR experience required; SHRM a plus; Experience with recruiting and Workday strongly preferred.Â Experience managing staff to achieve collective organizational goals preferred. Proven ability to manage office administrative functions. Proven ability to provide excellent customer service. Proven ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple tasks. Proven ability to work under time constraints while adhering to strict deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skill; Team player. Excellent computer skills including extensive experience with MS Office Suite.
