The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, (UTK) invites applications and nominations for two Compensation Analysts within the Human Resources office. Two applicants will be chosen from this recruitment and paid commensurate with experience, however the anticipated hiring range will be between $45,000 and $55,000 annually.
Review position descriptions and conduct position evaluations.
Make classification decisions including job title, pay grade, and FLSA exemption.
Review equity issues and recommend adjustments as needed.
Special Projects and Data Analyses
Serve on committees and project teams.
Research and analyze data and information from various sources, and provide reports and recommendations.
Gather data and provide analyses for responding to internal and external requests and salary surveys.
Provide information, advice, and assistance on classification and compensation topics and HR policy and procedures.
Respond to internal and external inquiries.
Troubleshoot difficult questions/issues and follow up with appropriate contact.
Develop and deliver training and related materials on compensation topics.
