Advise hiring managers and unit leaders on the classification and compensation of non-academic employees in order to attract, retain, and motivate a qualified workforce. Providing accurate classification and current competitive salary data from internal and external market sources. Guide unit leaders through departmental reorganizations and career ladder planning. Provide input to the development and/or revision of human resources policies and procedures and serve as resource to departments for policy interpretation. Lead or participate in long and short term projects.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus two years of professional human resources experience; equivalency considered. Advanced computer experience, specifically with databases and spreadsheets, and excellent analytical and problem solving abilities necessary. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills essential.
Ideal candidate will have specific experience with classification/compensation including knowledge of compensation/employment laws, performance appraisal systems, and current workplace issues and challenges. Professional HR certification preferred.
