Position Summary: Chemeketa Human Resources Office seeks a candidate to join our Human Resources Management team as the Operations Manager of HR & Payroll Systems. We are looking for a teammate who can bring a balance of technical knowledge and people skills in support of the improvement, implementation, and maintenance of progressive and functional Human Resources/Payroll systems and processes. This position serves as the point of contact for system and process questions in all Human Resources and Payroll functional areas and assists with ensuring data integrity and efficient process execution. The ideal candidate will have a knack for noticing the details, but a clear view of the big picture; keeping in mind how systems and processes impact our employees, coworkers, and students. This position will provide supervision to assigned Human Resources staff.

High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) -and- three (3) years of experience as an administrator or functional user of a computerized HRIS system
Associates Degree -and- two (2) years of experience as an administrator or functional user of a computerized HRIS System
Experience working with the administration of computerized payroll, employee benefits, human resources information or related systems
Two years of experience with data analysis
Demonstrated experience planning & managing projects through implementation
Experience working in Higher Education
One year of supervisory experience or possession of employee development certification
Experience with Ellucian Banner
