RKD Group is a leading fundraising and marketing agency to over 250 regional and national nonprofits. RKD Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for our Dallas location.
Our ideal candidate is a team player with a willingness to get the job done. This person will work on a range of critical HR processes. The Generalist will provide a wide range of HR support and guidance contributing to the success of the department by offering assistance with recruitment, training, benefits, and payroll along with other HR competencies. This individual will facilitate a positive relationship with employees and management.
Provide critical support in implementing HR programs to help improve the employee experience.
Offer proactive recruiting assistance including preparing job posting for social media.
Provide support to HR leadership and recruiters to schedule interviews and new hire orientation.
Send emails to new hires regarding payroll and benefits information.
Oversee our new hire on-boarding process, lead orientation, work with managers on first day processes, answer questions and help direct new employees on where to find answers.
Support off-boarding experience for employees and maintain employee files.
Track employee evaluations including but not limited to; reviews due each month, completion of any forms.
Track benefit eligibility dates and follows up with employees
Assure personal and benefit information is updated in the benefits systems.
Manage all HR forms, file in central location and post on the shared drive.
Notify departments of career events at universities and assist in registration.
Assist in the internship program.
Assist in the preparation of documents and presentations.
Work on HR special projects under the direction of the HR Director.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Experience in HR policy and procedures.
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of social media relating to recruitment.
Ability to perform independently while working in a team environment.
A results-oriented work ethic.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company information and to be able to serve as a trusted resource.
Willingness to get the job done.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
Prefer at least 3 years of applicable experience. HR certification is a plus.
Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with great attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
