Reporting to the Assistant Director of Administration, Finance & Process Improvement, The Sr. HR Coordinator will be responsible for administrative coordination of the HR Coordinators and temporary administrative staff.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Human Resources Consultant support and primary point of contact for analytics, separations and layoffs, exit interviews and database management, case management and work security tracking.
Planning of and agenda-setting for HR Department Administrator information sessions and HR Services Team Meetings.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of HR systems and processes, including recruitment support, onboarding, data change processing, time and labor, and some payroll functions.
Produces analytics related to workforce organization and requests of the Sr. HR Consultants.
Anticipates and resolves escalated client issues and problems, updating HR Consultants and supervisor as needed.
Coordinates training and manages and assigns work to HR Coordinators and temporary staff.
Assists with the development of HR systems, procedures, and processes.
Liaise with various departments and constituents at various levels in the HMS organization.
Prepares and maintains separation agreements and personnel files in accordance with regulations.
Develops and manages the exit interview database.
Leads process improvement projects and makes recommendations for change.
Leads file audit and archival annual process.

College degree strongly preferred, or an equivalent of education plus relevant business experience. Five or more years of related experience, preferably in an academic setting.
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills preferred. Familiarity with PeopleSoft and payroll systems is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with a particular ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and sometimes conflicting interests. Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills as well as a strong teamwork orientation. Proven project and/or program management skills. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.
