SUMMARY & POSITION We are currently working with a privately held manufacturer with over 120 years in business to identify an experienced Human Resources Manager. Located north of Pittsburgh, this manufacturer is approximately 250 employees across multiple locations. Their environment is laid back/casual, has a family feel culture where employees are appreciated and engaged, and a very low turnover rate.
Reporting to the President, the Human Resources Manager will supervise an HR Specialist and A Safety Manager. In summary, they will be responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy, processes and procedures in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, legal compliance, performance management, training & development, and compensation & benefits.

REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business preferred but not required. • PHR/SPHR certification preferred. • Minimum of 7 years of experience as an HR professional required. • Manufacturing experience required. • Ability to plan, develop, and strategically implement HR related programs and initiatives. • Strong ability to build relationships with all levels of team members and increase engagement. • Proven talent management, including the ability to attract and retain outstanding talent, and leadership management with an ability to assemble and motivate a high performance team. • Ability to travel 10 – 25% of the year. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
