We have an immediate need for a temporary Administrative Assistant supporting the Vice President for Human Resources (VPHR). The duration of the assignment will be approximately three to four months. The Administrative Assistant will provide high-level support to the VPHR, directing key administrative operations for the Division of Human Resources, coordinating scheduling, maintaining confidential information and communications, overseeing administrative support staff, and managing financial, budgetary, and timekeeping systems for the Division.
Provide high-level and confidential administrative support to Vice President; manage communications and follow-up; schedule appointments and maintain calendar; oversee and monitor coverage of main office areas; serve as primary point of contact for administrative staff matters
Primary responsibility for managing Financial (PeopleSoft), Budget (Adaptive), and Timekeeping (Workday) functions for the Division
Professionally and collegially interact with Presidentâ™s Office, and Academic and Administrative leadership teams across the University
Prepare technically sound and accurate spreadsheets as requested by the Vice President
Develop and maintain recordkeeping and filing system for Vice President
Prepare routine correspondence
Direct and track all communications to the appropriate Human Resource team members
Maintain high confidentiality on all information, communications, and databases
