The Director of Talent and Culture is a member of the WBUR Senior Leadership team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is responsible for establishing a best in class HR practice at WBUR, defining and delivering on the people strategy of the station. This role will partner and collaborate with employees at every level of the organization to create a strong employee culture of truth, creativity, diversity and respect. The Director of Talent and Culture will be a coach and provide guidance on all people related matters, creating some programs and processes from scratch and partnering with Boston University Human Resources and others. The candidate must be an individual contributor with a strong working knowledge of human capital including diversity, equity, and inclusion, workforce planning, talent and leadership development, policy implementation, and general HR administration. The Director of Talent and Culture must have effective mediation and conflict resolution skills and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
