HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATE , Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) , to provide administrative support to the HR function. Responsibilities include being the first point of contact for job postings on the J-PAL careers page, responding to inquiries from hiring managers and interested applicants; advertising and managing jobs on the J-PAL website for J-PAL Global, regional offices, affiliated professors, and select partners; providing administration support for the J-PAL applicant database; coordinating with the regional offices on sending the monthly jobs newsletter; editing and maintaining J-PAL's staff web bios for worldwide staff by utilizing Salesforce; performing quality control and maintaining standards on regional office submissions as part of onboarding and offboarding; assisting managers with activities related to recruitment, including preparing job requisitions, using job posting and sourcing sites, and receiving and forwarding resumes to hiring managers; scheduling phone screens and coordinating in-person interviews; assisting with onboarding new employees; creating and/or maintaining HR records and files in Salesforce and on Google Drive; assisting with the annual performance management process by collecting and maintaining documentation, sending notifications, and assisting with confidential calibration preparation; assisting with event planning and drafting HR correspondence; and providing other support to the HR manager as needed.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : high school diploma; five years' relevant professional work experience, preferably providing HR support; attention to detail; strong copyediting and proofreading skills; willingness to pitch in as needed; flexible approach to the working environment; experience with and comfort learning new software applications as needed. Must be able to work on projects independently yet accept supervision; maintain confidential information; and handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, successfully complete assigned tasks, and meet deadlines.
