As an HR Legal Contracts Manager, you will:
M anage all aspects of Human Resources Contracts and serve as internal employment law advisor to Human Resources and management. Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day area operations and administrative activities. Contribute to the strategic planning, design, development and implementation of program objectives, procedures, processes and standards.
May supervise staff.
Oversee and manage employment and professional services agreements, including but not limited to the drafting, reviewing and/or editing of executive and management employment services agreements and physician faculty professional services agreements.
Provide relevant expert legal advice and guidance to HR, executives and management in connection with the foregoing.
Responsible for managing and advising on the Cedars-Sinai separation agreement process, including drafting, reviewing and revising separation agreements.
Provide legal advice and guidance to Human Resources professional staff and Cedars-Sinai management staff relative to complex or sensitive employment decisions or situations, including but not limited to wage-hour/pay practice issues, discrimination, harassment, and other employment law related items.
Draft and/or oversee preparation of internal privileged & confidential communications regarding sensitive or confidential matters.
Monitor trends and assist in developing interventions to address issues as appropriate; provide privileged and confidential reports regarding same. Oversee and manages the assigned recognized organizational program and leads day-to-day program operations and administration.
May manage staff. Interface with other departments, leaders across the organization and other partners in the administration of the program. Identify and define any logistics, action items or information needed to maintain operations.
Plan, develop, coordinate, and organize resources to meet objectives. May lead cross-functional teams in the administration, maintenance or expansion of the function and/or programs.
Create and foster a collaborative and positive relationship building dynamic with internal staff. May be responsible for developing and implementing any applicable education, training, on-boarding and/or mentorship pertaining to the function.
Promote compliance with local, state and federal laws; and accreditation, professional and regulatory agency standards and licensure requirements. Maintain staff and program compliance with relevant organizational policies and procedures.
Research, gather, organize and summarize data for evaluating performance of the area or other unit operations. May develop, evaluate, recommend and implement procedures for data acquisition, management and quality control. May analyze data for trends or conclusions and presents results and recommendations to senior leadership.
May provide support for review and processing of independent contractors, such as Individual Consultant agreement requests.
