Position Description: Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer and in consultation with Academic Personnel, manages all onboarding, classification & compensation activities within Geffen Academy at UCLA and ensure compliance with campus policies & procedures. Maintains personnel files for all employees. Have a working knowledge of all relevant academic appointment processes, protocols, policies and labor laws and regulations. Understand labor contract language and be abreast of changes approved by the university and Geffen Academy regarding represented staff. Provide feedback and guidance to the CAO and Head of School. Conduct employee investigations as directed, run payroll reports and make corrections as needed. Has and/or develops advanced knowledge of UC HR payroll systems such as UCPath, PeopleAdmin, Cognos, Interfolio, UCRecruit, BOX, Opus and other HR UC Systems.
