Summary of Duties: Under general supervision, the HR Assistant performs a variety of duties in support of Human Resource Services. This project appointment will assist with increased workload due to Workday implementation. Apply established human resource guidelines, rules, policies and procedures to classified, exempt and/or academic processes within Human Resource Services. Participate in testing and training of WorkDay systems. Review, develop and maintain accurate records and correspondence. Assist clients, maintain electronic and paper files, produce reports, gather and organize documentation, and collect data and formulate results. Maintain and ensure a confidential environment at all times.
This is a project position and is expected to end on December 31, 2020. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension to complete the project.
Required Qualifications: Three years of office experience including at least six months of experience in a human resource or related setting OR equivalent education/experience.
