Compensation: The starting salary for this position is $77,351 per year which is range CL-29, step 1, on the 2019-2020 confidential salary schedule.
Benefits: A full benefits package which includes employer-paid medical, dental, and vision plans for employee and dependents; $100,000 employee life insurance; other optional coverages; and membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS).
Position Details: One regular, full-time, exempt, confidential position, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year on the Oceanside Campus. The normal work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. The person selected for this position will be subject to assignment to any district facility during any hours of operation.
Basic Function: Under general direction of the Manager, Human Resources Operations, support the maintenance of the human resource management system (HRMS) in addition to other systems supported by the Human Resources department. This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS analyst also supports HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
Education & Experience: To be eligible for this position, you must meet and provide evidence of the following minimum qualifications:
- a bachelors degree and at least three years HRIS or HR generalist experience; or - an equivalent combination of training and experience.
NOTE: For work experience, one year is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months, or at least 2,080 hours.
