University Human Resources at Iowa State University is seeking candidates for HR Coordinator positions to support HR delivery to campus. Reporting to an HR Partner, these positions may be filled at either an HR Specialist I or II level, depending on the needs of the college or division supported and the qualifications of the candidate.
These positions provide direct HR guidance and support to managers and employees in delivering professional level HR advice and services using a working knowledge of all applicable policies and procedures. Responsibilities include fielding questions on HR practices and strategies and escalating complex issues to the HR Partner as needed. These positions will provide Workday expertise and process support; leveraging the system in order to complete all necessary business processes. In addition to the above, the HR Specialist II will be expected to be involved in more complex matters such as performance management organizational development.
Successful candidates will possess the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with a variety of individuals across campus. Providing regular, consistent and meaningful communication to campus is essential to the success of the positions. These positions will instill trust and confidence and be expected to create a culture that fosters a high standard of ethics.
