The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Human Resources team at the Bettis Laboratory in West Mifflin, PA. The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a champion and change agent within the business on key people priorities while paired with and taking direction from a more senior HRBP. Additionally, the HRBP will assist in providing HR counsel to a broad and diverse management and employee community, including union and non-union employees. The workforce includes technical, administrative, operations, and support employees. The HRBP will assist on projects, advise on employee management, communication and overall talent management including, but not limited to, succession planning and performance management. The HRBP will be trained in and highly engaged in change management and will work closely with others in HR and across the organization to manage change. The HRBP will assist in the development of HR policies, processes and practices. The HRBP will be assigned designated departments and will be responsible for all HR-related items while partnered with a senior HRBP.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years relevant experience; or
Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four years relevant experience; or
Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years relevant experience
Two to four years of relevant professional HR Generalist or Business Partner working experience, preferably within an engineering or operations department.
Organizational development knowledge and/or experience.
