The HR Compliance Specialist is the lead investigator for the Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action regarding staff investigations on issues such as, harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment and claims of retaliation. Successful candidates will assist with the review of requests for ADA reasonable accommodations, and will also be a subject matter expert to assist with the development of the Affirmative Action Plan on an ongoing basis.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Management or related field required
Juris Doctor preferred not required
A minimum of one to two years of experience with compliance required.
A minimum of one to two of experience conducting investigations.
Experience and familiarity with reviewing claims of illegal and unlawful conduct, analysis of evidence, drafting investigation reports.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Communication and other skills:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to prioritize and efficiently execute a high volume and broad scope of tasks within tight deadlines.
Proficient skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
