Snow Peak’s 60+ years of history is built on a belief that great employees drive great results. As we expand our North American team, we are now looking for a head of Human Resources to help Snow Peak attract, develop, retain and promote the best talent in the outdoor industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage recruitment efforts producing excellent staff for a dynamic and growing organization.
Act as a key business partner to department heads to improve recruiting, development, and retention across the organization.
Spearhead efforts to ensure the Snow Peak values are a living part of company culture.
Manage employee benefit programs.
Oversee administration of bi-weekly payroll and benefit allocation.
Oversee onboarding processes for new employees.
Lead on creation of in-house training and development resources.
Oversee the performance evaluation process, including wage increase and incentive programs.
Prepare budget of human resources operations.
Resolve workplace conflicts through mediation.
Ensure Snow Peak remains in compliance with local, state, and federal employment law.
Develop and maintain clear company policies and ensure policy awareness.
Lead on workforce issues, including investigations, coaching, disciplinary, and termination procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
Experience in a Human Resources, including several years in mid to upper leadership roles.
Experience in building workplace culture programming, including team building and retreats.
Experience in developing effective in-house employee education programs.
Experience in structuring effective compensation and incentive programs.
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
Knowledge of relevant employment, health, and safety laws.
Excellent written and oral communication and ability to give presentations.
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
