This is a new position within the Office of HR designed to provide HR and administrative support to the HR team. This position is responsible the life cycle of student, temporary and unpaid actions, serves as the coordinator for the Bill and Karen Campbell Mentoring Program, Coordinator for the Protection of Minors and subject matter expert for the HR website.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Excellent organization, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple complex, confidential and sensitive HR issues
Demonstrated experience working with a diverse customer base
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgement and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships
Attention to detail and analytical thinking
Prefer experience with Peoplesoft/ConnectCarolina and Infoporte. Previous experience in HR, planning events and developing programs is strongly preferred. Previous experience with WordPress is preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.
