SUNY Morrisville is seeking a part time Human Resources Assistant for 30 hours per week. The successful candidate may create their own schedule within these hours, however, once set, the scheduled hours must remain consistent.
Job Duties Include:
Compliance, tracking and monitoring various Human Resource related functions for the College, including: evaluation, renewals, probation, aspects related to continuing or permanent appointment, time and attendance, mandated trainings, reports and information requests. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that mandatory obligations of a cyclical nature are carried out in a timely manner by sending reminders, updates and reports. This position is also responsible for tracking information and documentation related to employee demographic and pay information and supplying relevant information on request to external and internal constituents. This position requires a high comfort level creating and manipulating reports using Microsoft Excel.
Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree and experience in a Human Resources office; knowledge of Microsoft Excel and databases; demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Prior SUNY experience; prior experience in higher education
