What you can expect
As HR Project Manager you are responsible for implementing the HR objectives connected with the acquisition of EMC business of Commerzbank by SG (including migration, integration, efficiency implementation/reorganization), while managing the HR operational risks. The project has already started and estimated to be completed 2021.
You will be responsible for the HR aspects of:
Managing the project implementation in Frankfurt
Planning and managing the milestones
Managing the local HR budget of the project
Defining and following-up the project KPIs
Reporting the project status to the Sponsor and Reporting Manager
Managing the plan of resources and suppliers
More specifically this means you will:
Participate in regular meetings with the seller, SG internal project meetings and calls
Prepare legal documentation together with external lawyers in connection with migration, integration, harmonization, efficiencies
Work with the workers council on new joint company agreements (compensation, benefits, working time etc.) in the context of harmonization of benefits
Plan and organize staff transfers and organize potential synergies identified by the business taking into consideration German legal environment and risk for the Bank (operational, reputational, financial etc)
Ensure technical integration of staff in SG HR systems and tools (People Soft, Payroll etc.) in conjunction with the Systems Teams in UK and France
Experience and Technical Skills:
Ideally experience in Banking or Consulting and at least 8 years of experience as Project Manager
Significant experience in managing HR aspects of Mergers & Acquisitions
Experience in international organisations as well as in a matrix organisation
Experience in negotiations with (German) staff representatives
Profound project management skills
Good legal knowledge (individual & collective employment law)
Fluent German language skills; excellent written and oral English language skills, French language skills are of advantage
MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Project Management Tools
Personal Abilities and Competencies:

You have a hands-on mentality.
You have very good communication and strong negotiation skills.
You are flexible and able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
You are able to coordinate a variety of stakeholders.
You have excellent English and German language skills (written and orally); French would be of advantage.
