Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner role contributes to the University’s performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting for assigned business partners. Performs HR related duties at the professional level while supporting more than one functional group.
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute workforce planning
PHR or SPHR Certification highly desired
7 to 10 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, ideally in higher education.
Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and related state and federal employment law and regulations.
Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
Previous experience working with computerized HRIS database is highly desirable.
