The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to design and deliver people strategies and solutions, including workforce planning, leadership coaching, and organizational design. The HRBP ensures that business outcomes are achieved through effective change management support and by facilitating caregiver engagement. The HRBP develops integrated, data informed solutions by partnering with business and clinical leaders, as well as HR Solutions Center and Networks of Expertise (NoE's).
The Team and Opportunity
We are a team of high-performing, collaborative HRBP's (you'll be one of seven reporting to a HR Director) and passionate HR professionals. We support the leaders and caregivers of Intermountain Healthcare's flagship facility in Murray, Utah and strive to create a culture of positivity, accountability, and engagement.
Our next HRBP will not only be a HR superstar, but will be hungry, nimble, and smart. They will have ideas and opinions and champion those in a positive way, using Intermountain's values as their compass.
Additionally, as a HRBP, you will be responsible for:
Strategy Deployment: Partners in the strategy deployment process as part of the BU/facility leadership team. Leads supporting people strategies by leveraging system HR strategic initiatives, translating into local needs as necessary. Owns implementation and execution of system HR initiatives within the local area.
Workforce Planning: Advises clinical and business leaders on forecasting workforce needs, including providing strategic staffing solutions to improve labor productivity measures.
Leadership Development: Facilitates the leadership development process for the BU/facility leadership team, including leadership coaching, succession planning, support development planning, and champions diversity through the development process.
Change Management: Assesses the impact of strategic initiatives to ensure that appropriate change and transition plans are in place to engage and inspire caregivers to support a successful change.
Organizational Design: Advises and leads organizational design efforts for change and transformation in the organization, and ensures all appropriate elements are in place for true transformation.
Caregiver Engagement & Culture: Assesses and understands the culture of the BU/facility and how that culture impacts clinical and business outcomes. Coaches leaders to positively influence the workplace environment and culture, and proactively influences KPIs that influence caregiver engagement in alignment with overall HR Strategy.
Data and Analytics: Uses analytics to translate information into business decisions to drive outcomes. Utilizes Intermountain's Operating Model (Continuous Improvement).
Networks of Expertise Liaison: Partners with NoE's to bring specialized HR services to meet business objectives and maximize the value of Intermountain's HR service delivery model (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Employee Relations).
The Skill Set
Bachelor's degree. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified. or an additional three years of experience beyond minimum requirement.
Four years of HR, clinical, or business-related consulting or project management experience in a highly complex, multi-layered organization.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Ability to influence and coach leaders, and strong facilitation skills.
Ability to manage and perform with a high degree of autonomy, organization, and adaptability.
A focus on understanding the needs of the organization and supporting organization leaders with a customer focused, internal consultancy, service orientation.
A passion for helping people live the healthiest lives possible.
Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate, as well as, hear and understand spoken information.
Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
