Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Regional Head of HR Advisory, Asia Pacific.
Lead HR advisors in delivering this professional service to the business by providing advice and guidance that aligns with business aims and goals
Coach and enable HR advisors to support managers in the business to deal effectively with people issues by providing customer driven advice and guidance on complex enquiries relating to all aspects of HR services, handing off or involving specialist service areas where required
Provide managers in the business the right guidance to deal effectively with complex people issues having taken a risk based approach within the commercial context and considering the need to protect and promote the Bank's reputation
Support the Global Service Owners to reduce people management related risks through earlier intervention, coaching and support
Customer contact deploys a range of digital channels, such as click to chat and telephone, to limit face to face contact yet provide advice and guidance in a timely way
Sponsor the adoption of these digital channels, work with the business to increase utilisation of portal tools and to adopt new processes
Escalate flaws or gaps in policy and process to the customer contact support team and work with the HR business in order to influence appropriate changes
Deliver as appropriate focus groups training and briefings to the business in areas as required
Customer contact operates within a global set of key performance indicators as agreed with service companies, ensure performance operates within the region to the expected indicators
Extensive management experience in HR services with a high level of understanding of HR globally and especially regional context with evidence of success in an operational HR role
Previous experience in a customer facing environment with proactive approach to customer service
Good understanding of the principles of employee relations and procedures
Deep understanding of operational risk and experience in identifying and implementing controls to mitigate such risks
Experience of digital and strong change management experience especially implementation of new HR operating model, including new processes, systems and services
Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, influencing, facilitation and stakeholder management skills across all levels of management
Ability to prioritise work under pressure in a matrix environment with conflicting demands
Ability to rapidly develop a detailed knowledge customer contact practices and procedures
Ability to demonstrate use of initiative
Strong business analysis skills to develop robust service design solutions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Well developed analytical, problem solving and decision making skills combined with influencing and negotiation skills
Proven ability to work well under pressure within demanding and changing timescales or deadlines
Desire to grow knowledge of HR systems, tools and digital ways of working
